Benefit for Lahaina - Celebrate Aloha Concert
Join us Online on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at 3 pm CDT for an unforgettable afternoon of Hawaiian Hula and Music at Halau i Ka Pono's Benefit for Lahaina - Celebrate Aloha Concert. 100% of ticket sales, raffle and silent auction will go towards supporting the people of Lahaina, Maui devastated by wildfires in early August.
From traditional Hawaiian chants to contemporary songs, this concert promises to be a celebration of our rich Hawaiian culture of Aloha. We’ll be joined by 3 other Chicago halau and other special guests: Halau Ho’ohiwahiwa I Ka Pu’uwai – Kumu Hula Tina Momilani Eggert; Hula O Puanani – Kumu Shasta Hud; Kamokunani Hula Halau – Teacher Netty Palumbo; Kumu Kona Garcia with Halau O Na Liko A’o Puna; and Ron Cabanada from Hoapili!
