Zen and Hula Traditions - Online Event

Join the Chicago Public Library for the online event Zen and Hula Traditions with Zen master and Hula dance teacher June Tanoue. Sensei Tanoue will introduce the practice of "Easeful Embodiment", where the movements of traditional Hawaiian dance are combined with the mindfulness practices of Zen meditation to strengthen the connection between body and spirit.  Loose, comfortable clothing is recommended.

This event takes place on Zoom. Register at least 24 hours before the event. Only one registration per household is needed. You’ll receive an email with a link to the secure Zoom meeting about 24 hours before the meeting. Automatic transcription is included in all CPL events using Zoom.
