Ages 5 - 8 years.
There are 8 class meetings in this series: March 14, 21, 28, April 4, 18, 25, May 2, 9.
Students will learn basic feet and hand movements along with two hulas. They’ll also learn the concepts of aloha (love) and Ohana (family). Boys & girls welcome. No experience necessary.
Classes will be taught by Lorel Madden, a member of Halau i Ka Pono since 2016. She is a licensed elementary school teacher and certified International Baccalaureate Instructor for 28 years. Her family roots are from Maui where her grandmother was one of the original Kodak Hula dancers.
